My practice

All voices counselling was founded by Maz, a MBACP registered person-centred therapist. I offer 50-minute sessions for £35.00 through the Omnia Therapy website.

Whether you're looking for support with anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity or simply a space to explore your feelings — I welcome you as you are. Therapy is a collaborative process and my aim is to walk alongside you with empathy and genuine care.

About your therapist

Meet Maz

My name is Mariama — Maz for short. I am a MBACP person-centred therapist. My Level 7 training was rooted in the person-centred modality, which means I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental and compassionate space where you feel truly heard, respected, valued and empowered.

As a mixed-race individual who is socially and politically aware, I am committed to making therapy accessible and culturally sensitive — welcoming clients from all communities, all experiences and all voices.

My journey

My
Background

Before moving into counselling, I worked in the finance sector, where I gained first-hand insight into the pressures and mental health challenges that can arise in corporate, high-stress environments. This experience deepened my awareness of how emotional well-being can be affected by workplace demands and I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating stress, burnout and the complexities of professional life.

Whilst my BACP accredited training gave me a theoretical and ethical foundation for my practice, I have continued to grow through additional CPD around cultural humility and responsible care for minority groups. I believe therapy should be accessible for individuals from all communities, all experiences and all voices.

As a mixed-race individual who is socially and politically aware, I am committed to breaking down barriers in mental health support, ensuring that therapy is inclusive and culturally sensitive. My previous voluntary experience includes working with neurodivergent students in education settings.

In practice, I have supported individuals navigating relationship difficulties, workplace distress, neurodivergent experiences and identities, the perinatal period and motherhood, explorations of religion and identity, as well as grief, loss and childhood trauma.

What is person-
centred therapy?

Supportive hands

My therapeutic approach

Person-centred therapy, developed by Carl Rogers, rests on the conviction that every human being has an innate tendency toward growth. You are the expert of your own experiences and perception.

Together we embark on a joint voyage within your inner world. My role isn't to “fix” you or tell you what to do — it's to utilise my training to support your inner exploration, at your pace, in your way.

Imagine we are on a hike in your inner world. You provide the direction, whilst I have a bag of potentially useful tools to support us if we get stuck on our journey.
